Is it me or does TVR have a crap website?
I wrote them an email a week ago letting them know how they could improve it (nothing too flash) but no reply.
Not even to say they had read it!
PS. I drove a Tuscan S at the TVR Centre in Barnet and I must say the spoiler doesn''t look too bad but I do prefer the indicators in the back window!
PPS. I **** my pants.
Well Leather (or should I call you Adam) it is substantially better than it used to be, in fact I would say for a small manufacturer it's not bad. I expect Porsche have more people working in their IT department than TVR have in Blackpool. As regards an answer to your e-mail - don't expect one, then if ever they do reply you will be pleasantly surprised Rich...
Their website isn't very good. It's littered with spelling mistakes, and, in my opinion, has only one good page.
They haven't updated the news since April.
I sent them an e-mail pointing out the spelling mistakes. Not heard a thing.
I've even gone as far as building a Flash site demo and shown that to them, but they say that their development is all done in house.
The web site should be a reflection of the company. They appear to overlook the little things. Maybe thats the cause of the well documented Speed Six issues...

I reckon we should make an unnofficial TVR homepage! At least it will save them the effort of designing sites and concentrate on these problems I keep reading about!
I still really want a Tuscan but I can't decide on the paint job! I saw the Blue Cascade.. Mmmm... Possibly a bit girlie but a maybe a Chameleon or Reflex to get that Nokia phone look!

TVR does have a bloke working full time on the website, so you have to wonder what he actually does during the day. The spelling mistayks are appalling, but it's the same in the handbooks. One of the first couple of pages in the Chimera handbook has a glaring cock-up, so I suppose the website guy also does the proof reading, too...
I think TVR should go look at the Corvette website on -
http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette/index.htm
It's a bloody good site and it's what TVR should be as it goes to great lengths to explain why they chose the tyres, how they designed the suspension all on streaming video by the guys and girls who designed it!
Makes you want one (except it's LHD and American!) But it looks the dogs bollox!
