Design vote: Fastback, hatchback with boot ext, bootlid?

Just wandering what the general view is?

The griff, chim, cerb, tusc - all had one thing in common, a bootlid! :)

Should TVR's next model lineup stick with the current fastback/hatchback trend or bring back the bootlid design in their strategy?

I'm putting my hand up for a bootlid model to be the next new-comer... what do you all think?

Dont you get it, TVR read these threads, and it sounds like they're bringing back the V8, so I'm hoping they bring it back in a grand tourer or a concept design and not in one of the current shells... just a thought mind you....

Saying that, theres a lot of space in that hatch, so from a 'size' perspective you got oodles of it!

It has a certain Tuscan-something about it.

The idea of a hard-top champion-tuscan aggressively styled is appealing, in the same vein as the sag is a champion-T350C.

I'd LOVE a decent fast car that'll get me to the beach the beach quickly, something I can fit my windsurf boards in or maybe even mountainbikes. No car manufacturer makes a truly practical very high performance car or do they?

My ideal would be a shooting brake, with one seat, loads of room practical interior & 400+ bhp

how about a bootlid, but the rear seats go down so you can fit the beach gear in? Or, even have removeable rear seats, and remove the passenger seat at will.... plug n play?
