To answer your questions:
1)No idea
2)Yes you'll get around 6%APR
3)Build times ie time to build your car is 3 weeks. The clock starts when the factory acknowledge your order. Prior to that it's how quick your dealer sorts their end out.
My new Sagaris will take 4 weeks in all after ordering from the dealer. Pretty quick!!!

Down to a 3/4 week build time? They've made some drastic improvements since spring/summer 2005 when it took 8 weeks to build my Tamora....

Saw an advert in the times at the weekend

Basically you can get a brand new 40k TVR for £400 a month

Based on £10k deposit

36 months at 6.6 apr

Ballon payment of 20K at the end

This is in line with most big manufacturers and if residuals hold well should allow for you to move onto your next new car at the ned of the 3 years with your old one as deposit (if you see what I mean).

£400 a month is certainly within my budget and I am by no means rich!

You are putting £10,000.00 down as a deposit.

There is a balloon of £20,000.00 to be paid at the end of the 3 years.

So you are borrowing £10,000.00 and you are paying £400.00 per month for 36 months. A total of £14,400.00.

Your interest for borrowing £10,000.00 over 3 years will be £4,400.00!

Surely it's the (decreasing) interest on 10k, as you pay it off + the interest on 20,000 which is 4.4k?

You don't get anything for nothing, the loan of 20k included!

The 3 year warranty certainly swayed my decision to buy a new Tuscan S6. Without it I would have probably gone for another RV8 Chim or Grif.

Don't know about the finance options but I ordered mine, and paid the deposit, on the 7th of August, I'm due to visit the factory this coming Thursday to see the car in final assembly, and the car is due for delivery, to the dealer, during the first week in November. 13 or 14 weeks then.

The three year warranty stopped me buying a boring 911.

The 3 year warranty seems to make the depreciation of a TVR somehow acceptable. I imagine it will be the best thing TVR have ever done for the sake of the marque. Can they afford it though? Will TVR still be around in 3 years time?

well the 3yr warranty was the final thing that made buying a new Sag feesible. Without that I don't think I would have done it.

With the three year warranty and new buying plans, I will indeed be changing my 2001 Tuscan for a brand new Tuscan convertible next year (dont see the point in buying before the winter).

£400 a month and a 3 year warranty is the same as leasing a BMW 3 series!!

Now what colour mmm....

From a future buyer's point of view, I'm a lot more tempted due to the 3 year warranty.

I can see a load of pre owned TVR's hitting the used car market in 3 years time.
