PISTONHEAD NAMES

i have had a thought, i have been going to places like the ace cafe and other meets now for a few years and hardly know anybodys name, would it not be a good idea to say at the next ace cafe meeting to put you pistonhead name on the windscreen of the car so at least we can put a face to the name . I am easy to spot my number plate is TOVIE like my surname,my friend who also turns up is BIGBLOCKMARK. NUMBER PLATE

I couldn't agree more, I have been to a few meets like the Ace cafe where its almost impossible to know who's who, getting to know a few people but think even PH name on car is not enough, think also need to issue people with badges to wear, like when you are visiting a business premises, yes one might feel a bit of a plonker wearing one, but it would be a quick way of getting to know who your fellow PH enthusiasts are.

So just two types of badges needed then...
One type for you that say's "I'm Spartacus"
and the other for all of us that says "No, I'm Spartacus"

Great idea, I will investigate getting something made up to go in the windscreen maybe above the 'rip-off' (read: Tax Disc).

Ok everybody, next time you go to an Ace Meeting get a broad felt tip marker and write your PH name on a A4 sheet of paper (you can nick a sheet from the office photo copier) and get your mum/girlfriend/wife to attach it to your back with a couple of safety pins.
