Thats according to Top Gears Richard Hammond in his book 'what not to drive' which I flicked through over the weekend.

Apparently, blokes will always look rubbish in a TVR, and ladies always look foxy. Anyone want to lend Anne Widdecombe their TVR to check the theory ?!

Men in Tuscans are also a real turn off, as they are too 'brutish'

You could make the same statement about any sports car.

Its (for some reason) a truism that a girl who looks at home in a more 'masculine' role, is always an attraction. Take Sabine Thing. Not a nice looking lass at all (and German!), but lapping the 'ring in a car kinda makes a lot of blokes think naughty things.

Don't get me wrong - sporty spice is not attractive. Its a 'feminine' girl fullfilling a 'masculine' role...THATS the thing.

Put a nice looking girl in a WRX STi, Porsche, Ferrari, EVO, TVR....and the reaction will always be the same. Phwoar! Stick a bloke in any of those and its very very VERY easy to see it as either an extension of perceived self, or another somewhat sad requirement being fulfilled.

One of the reasons I am trying to convince the missus that a T350 is the way to go, is because I think she will look HOT behind the wheel.

JOKE! truth is, I would love a T350, but the best/worst thing I have done is start to read PH. It has almost convinced me that although I could afford the car, I could not afford to run it. If I could get the missus to think one is a good idea, then it's her fault Ha ha.

I guess Hammond would look good in a TVR then. Thats if he could reach the pedals, they only have a few inches travel on them, as opposed to a few feet.

I used to like him but I guess now I just think he's a to$$er. .

I organised some beers with some old friends down my local and suggested to the g/f that it would be good if she could drop my in the new everyday car - mates were impressed by the T350 .. and even more impressed with the way she left..

Mrs. PPH announced in the car yesterday, that one of the reasons she is against a TVR, is that she thinks she is a bit of a speed freak and that she would actually loose her licence before I did!! When she said that, I nearly crashed. I could not believe my ears. Yep, the girl who moans at me for being an agressive driver and "expecting others to react as quickly as I do", is actually worse than me! Arrival at the Metrocentre meant that she was able to change the subject, but I will be re-visiting that one in the future

WHO WEARS THE TROUSERS - purcahsed a brand new TVR Tuscan 2, not a peep from tha wife - and when I got home from picking it up (two days later), dinner was on the table (piping hot)!
