OK, who was it? You were waiting to turn off the Madingley road to go south on the M11 near Cambridge, I was going the other way trying to find a way around the queues. You... grey S or Chimaera I think, thumping great Pistonheads banner across the top of the windscreen. Me... grey BMW 7, no distinguishing features. While I may drive it like a hot hatch, I think a "Pistonheads... speed matters" sticker might look somewhat out of place.

'twas me! This is getting scary. Not only does everyone know what time I finish updating the site each night, now I can't bod about the country without being spotted. Time to get a diesel Maestro me thinks. Perhaps not... Edited by PetrolTed on Friday 27th July 02:24

As this fine little site unites us all and provides us with a little light entertainment when we're stuck at our desks and not in our cars (doh!), perhaps you could make some smart little (smaller than yours!) rear window stickers, Ted? Nice dark purple font for me please!

Sounds good, I’d put one on my car, in white of course. A front screen one would be good. Needs to be big enough for people to spot.

It's been on my to-do list for far too long now. I will try and get this sorted.

<dumb ass mode on> So, are car stickers available or not? I've been to the PistonHeads shop and done a search but no joy. <dumb ass mode off>

Drop me a line and I can send you some vinyl lettering, but this is a bit more fiddly than car stickers.

The mini owners club I’m a member of has stickers made up, about inch high letters spelling southern mini owners club, they cost about £4 and even do a reflective one for £6, I could find out where they get them done.

Paul, If it's not too much trouble that would save me some research, thanks. Ted

Post Up when the Front Screen stickers are ready Ted. I don't mind doing a little advertising for my fav TVR website. Edited by Rich 400 SE on Friday 27th July 19:15

some "public enemy number one" stickers sound more appropriate with the latest government rant over speeding

I got a sign guy down the road to make me a smaller sticker to put on the back of my grif and its white reflective, how's that for devotion?

Dave - I believe your sticker is still on the Tuscan (it was when I sold it), so more free advertising!!! Anyone seen a yellow road going race Tuscan in the Maidenhead area (S-reg I think!!) emblazoned with Pistonheads.com?
