They were ok, not sure bout now. As not sure that station hill are an 'official' dealer for servicing anymore.
I bought my old one at station hill and had it and new griff serviced their until Hawthorns completely tok over 'officailly'.
Had no problems to report with Hawathorns either.
If you want full TVR service history (i.e new ish car) stay with Hawthorns

PGI also service volvos, but have mechanics trained on TVR as well, latest is they picked up an ex factory guy - had moved down south - there as well.
Anyway - as long as they follow the service schedule, which they do!!what is wrong with this.
Remember - LOTS of expensive Volvo (V70, C70, etc)ownwers out their, with a much less flexible atttitude to lack of reliabilty and poor service, that seems to be supplied by most TVR dealers.
Given from probably everyones experience of 'most' tvr dealers, I would expect that a VOLVO customer service/service environment to reflect very positively on TVR.
Conversley Henley used to be a Volvo dealership many years ago/plus TVR, now soley TVR. I rest my case.
All I know is:
I bought my Griff 500 at Hawthorns (3 years ago).
Hawthorns are an official TVR dealer/franchise and as such meet should meet 'TVR' standards for servicing.
The PDI was very good at Hawthorns,(doing stuff the factory should really do)
I have it serviced at Hawthorns.
I have had no problems with my Griff 500
Customer Service has been good.
I'm happy with the car and Hawthorns.
so if the 'Volvo' puts you off, go somewhere else, but DO question your prejudices/car snobbery.
in my experience their are'nt that may good TVR dealers out there.

Hawthorns finished with SHG last august,
I've had my last major service last october at Hawthorns, plus since then some extras, (alloy bits, battery conditioner, lights on warning buzzer, pedal, etc, quote for stonechips).
The sales side has also always been much better at Hawthorns.
I did go to SHG one Saturday recently, to enquire about Cerbera 4.5's, in my opinion, it has gone downhill. the person in reception new nothing about TVR's, the other chap was out, they never contacted me back, the place was a lot scruffier than it used to be.
I was taken through the back to 'have a look' at what they had. ( i think they no longer had the location where they previously parked customer cars), as everything was crammed into the workshop are, I would be majorly concerned that if I took my car there, it would come back scratched and battered. I think a number of people that used to be there have moved on.
I wouldn't go there again, plus (newer cars servicing) I don't think it counts as TVR FSH. Can be important resale/trade in to TVR dealer.
Overall, not a good impression.
I may be wrong, and thier service/maintenance could be brilliant.
But I'm not going back.

I've taken a look at Fernhurst website.
They appear to be the cheapest TVR dealer for the standard service schedules.
Has anyone found cheaper at a TVR dealer. (and a good dealer, for quality of service)
If Fernies are as good or better than Hawthorns, I'll probablt take it there.
(I won't be going outside the dealer network until my car is older)
Has anyone negotiated down the standard service costs, (not extra work)i.e labour rate, successfully.
