Reminder : Surrey TVRCC Meet on Thursday evening

Steve must be really busy today so here's the reminder for the Surrey TVRCC meet this Thursday at The Fairmile, Cobham. We'll be discussing the convoy to Kevin and Sylvia's wedding, the day out on Salisbury Plane (with the Owls) and the Halloween Brooklands Ghost Tour.

P.S. It's RO Election time. The nominees in the running so far are Mr S.Thomsit and Mr M.Onkeh. A vote will be taken on Thursday evening and the decision of the returning officer (me!)will be final. If anyone else wants to stand as a candidate please let us know on Thursday evening. These things have to be done properly.

Salisbury Plain is not very far from me. Would the day out there be open to members from other TVRCC regions? If so, could you post some details, maybe on the TVRCC General Discussion forum?

I advertised the election on the Surrey e-group on September 15th which should be more than enough time for any potential candidate to get their manifesto sorted .

I have done a bit of editing since the last version you all saw. Thanks to an airbrush and some camera trickery I know look like Brad Pitt and my Tiv has no dead flies caked on the numberplate!

It's official: at last nights meeting it was decided that surrey TVR CC is to split into two regions with 2 RO's..

1) Surrey : RO's Steve & Karen

2) Martyrs Green : RO M. Onkeh
This is a rotten borough with population 1 (MR M. Onkeh)

Steve T was heard trying to bribe one M. Onkeh with bananas - obviously trying to get a second RO ship..

Only a matter of time before NCS tries the same
