6 sags and 2 tuscs gone

Heard from a factory contact that 6 sags and 2 tuscs are back for rebuilds. Does anyone know if it was the usual problems of finger followers, valve guides and cams or was it something else. Faulty assembly etc
Please only reply if you have factual info and not hear say.

PS On the up side they are getting priority and turned around in two weeks!!!!!

Ash, dont want this to turn into any sort of slaggin Speed six stuff. Just want to know if anyone has factual info. I want to buy a Sagaris but need to know the 3 main probs are sorted.

If your trading back in for another TVR in 3 years time I would worry either. TVR launched their new Approved Used Warranty scheme 2 weeks ago at a meeting with dealers.
I have to say that the Saggy really is a good looking piece of kit when you see in in the flesh (or should I say plastic). It is certainly something I would like to have in 2 yrs time

Why dont you ask your factory contacts..........cos from what you've posted, if the detail of the "break-downs" is not available, one may be tempted to think the basis for the post was only hear say.
Still, nothing new for PH.

No I don't at present. All I can tell you is that there was a dealer meeting the week before last (On Tuesday I think) and at that meeting one of the many new thing was the launch of this new Warranty Scheme.
My own dealer told me about this warranty when I visited last Saturday I don't believe I am breaking any confidences here because I have seen the Sales Manager of HL Gorner confirming this in a post last week (The one where he asked for the knocking to stop).

ok ok i just made it up for a laugh!!! get real!!!
I'll find out on Monday regardless, just wondering if anyone had any factual information just now (Saturday) as wanted to start checking out deals on trading up the Cerb tmrw with dealers and didnt want to waist time, u ok with that???
Jamster I think it is an important question that you have asked, particularly when spending circa £50K on a car. The 3 year warranty will obviously protect you from large engine rebuild bills and the used warranty should hopefully protect rebuilds.
Having said all that I understand your concerns, at the end of the day 3yr warranty or not, there is little point in buying a car for it to spend weeks/months off the road.
Lets hope if it is true that is a case of people disregarding the running in procedures.

I'm going to the factory on Monday. They've promised me details.
Ohh Ted, keep an eye out for my car. They are loading it onto the truck apparantly ready for it to be delivered on Tuesday.
