Been waiting this long for a Tuscan chassis to be delivered to Austec. Is this a record?
I've been told that TVR are notoriously slow at supplying parts (AP clutches ring a bell?), but this is getting ridiculous!
I was kind of hoping to get the car back [i]before[/i] the Summer was over - but the way things are going, Winter might be more realistic :rolleyes:
Maybe it's a mixed blessing with the way petrol prices have been going, but for every day the sun's been out and I've seen a fellow Tiv out and about......:irked:

I wonder if it is worth Austec or one of PH's engine builders (Boosted?) taking advantage of your misfortune, and whilst you have a body-less car, taking a few (or rather a lot) of measurements & photos of your car with a view to helping answer some of the V8 / BMW S54 "will it fit" in the chassis questions?

I had my Chim in for repair at austec after a woman reversed in to me, I`m still waiting on some new boot hinges that have also taken about 6 weeks so far to be delivered.
The same inspector from the insurance company inspected mine at the same time as yours. Paul said he was in a good mood that day. Which I think was good for both of us

I'll be there from 11ish.
Think I saw yours (ooer!) when I popped in last week to see the state of mine
Speaking to the glass-fibre repair man, and seeing the quality of the work he was doing, I think we're in good hands
Just think of all the cash we're saving on fuel at the mo', and how good it'll feel when we eventually get them back
