Tyres - will these fit?

Not sure where to post this for best response.

But, my question is will 205/50/16 tyres fit on 7.5J 16 rims okay?

According to the Toyo site, the permitted rim widths for that size are 5.5 - 7.5". I believe they base this on some European trade body recommendations.

I'd say yes - but they are a little narrow.

215 or 225 would be more suited to the rim width..

A big tyre shop like Micheldever or similar would have the stock to enable you to see it on the rim before you decide..

Thanks for the replies, these are for track-day tyres and are semi slicks and 205 is the largest width I can get in the 16'.

Guess I'll give 'em a go and see how we get on.
