Hi, I'm new to this site. I am having a problem opening the Boot on my Griffith. Hand book gives details of Emergency boot opening But my car seems to have been built differently.
Can anyone advise. I can hear the solenoid operating when I push the button but it is not releasing the boot lid. Thanks 😊

Suggest you contact your Service agent... with one post and no history only a fool would give that information away .. sorry

Push down on the lid when operating the solenoid - it might remove enough friction for the mechanism to work, else, as said already, ask the person you bought it from.

Hi Thanks for your suggestion, I have just given it a go but back to the drawing board.
Car will not be used till the spring so plenty of time to sort it.
