Attempted Break-in

Looks like some chancing bar stewards tried to break into my car yesterday whilst I was out bowling. Luckily it seems they were thick as pig-sh1t and think the easiest way to get into a rag top is to try and prise the windscreen out :eek: :rolleyes:

So no damage apart from the rubber being peeled away a little. What's the best way to stick this stuff back down?

Can't get over how thick they really must have been, though. Their mothers must be so proud!

That would seem a very odd thing to do? Especially in Kirkstall, what use there?!

So any idea what to stick it back with? What sticks to glass and rubber?

Black silcone sealant should do the job I'd have thought.

Sikaflex is the best stuff for this.

Clean the aera up with meths first, make sure the rubber is clean too. Mask off the area you want the sealand to go and pump it in!

I have just resealed my screen on the Cerbera, worked a treat, and looks ok too.

i think superglue might over time crack the glass, best stick with a flexible sealant.
