Best company for TVR insurance if your under 25?

hi, i just wondered what the best company for insurance is if your under 25 im considering either a Cerb 4.2 or Griff 500 to do perhaps 5000 miles per year in perhaps less,ive always wanted a Tuscan but although i could buy an early one i wouldnt be in a fininacal position to repair it if the engine went bang.

After various searches through main dealers and a few brokers, 107 out of 109 companies turned me down without any kind of offer.
One of the companies that would accept me was Sunninghill. They often turn out to be the cheapest anyway, and will likely accept you whatever your age. Given them a call yet?

Sunninghill are definately worth a call, and I'd also be tempted to try Privilege as well - depends rather on what you've driven before the Cerb or Griffo but if you have a history of performance cars then they'll be very accomodating. I worked my way up through large diesels when I was a teen and then onto high-pressure Saab turbos, so by the time I got to a TVR they knew I would have a half a chance of handling it!
In terms of costings, just one thought - if your concerned about running a Tuscan due to costs, beware the Cerbera - the AJP V8 is a good deal more fragile than the Rover V8 in the Griff, so tends to cost a bit more to run. I'd budget on £3k a year just on servicing costs and putting problems right, irrespective of mileage. The Griff however should be about half that. Also the V8s in the Cerbs occasionally need rebuilds the same as the AJP Sp6 so you won't be entirely shot of that problem!
In all, most Tivvers would agree if you can afford to buy one, you've got to do it once in your life! Ive had a Chim and a Cerb, but have had to bow out and get a BMW M5 thanks to an expanding family, but believe me, I'll be back!

thanks for the help everyone,i will search around tomorrow,i think i might go for a Griff as the engine has more than proved itself in various forms over the last 30 years or so,i havent owned a true performance car but many bikes R1s Fireblades etc so maybe they will take that into account, only downside is ive got to get rid of my Golf first.Also what do i need to look out for when looking over a Griff,obviously FSH listen to the engine and check for body damage etc but is there any other signs that i could be buying a dog?
