Seeing as it came off in one piece, reattaching it with glue is an option.
I've had several Chimaeras and I have re-furbished the rear badge twice. On one, the gel area was poor, and cracked, so I got the rest off and refitted it as it was:
On the previous one, the badge didn't have the gel finish but was painted:
I re-painted the whole lot gloss back and then carefully rubbed it back to expose the letters, then lacquered the lot:
I wonder how many people buying 'gold' ones realise it's just one without the letters and rim painted silver.
