Luckily this plate fell off of the Chim 500 badge in my garage. Presumably it’s just a matter of using some super glue.

Does anyone know another way?

Seeing as it came off in one piece, reattaching it with glue is an option.

I've had several Chimaeras and I have re-furbished the rear badge twice. On one, the gel area was poor, and cracked, so I got the rest off and refitted it as it was:

On the previous one, the badge didn't have the gel finish but was painted:

I re-painted the whole lot gloss back and then carefully rubbed it back to expose the letters, then lacquered the lot:

I wonder how many people buying 'gold' ones realise it's just one without the letters and rim painted silver. smile

Carefully painted mine black and then used some UV stable epoxy resin on mine to get the domed look. I think the originals were just painted.
