Hi Guys. I have a 1994 TVR with a Cobra 7928/26/HF alarm / immobiliser fitted in 2004 so it's 19 year old system. It's started playing up. I'd like to remove it before it completely fails and immobilises the car. I cannot find any installation instructions on the web just hand books (That I have) Any body got info on how to safely go about removal or have a wiring / installation diagram ? Thanks.

Not much help, I know, but the alarm on my 1998 Merc SL started playing silly buggers, so I did the manly thing and ripped off the siren...

If you Google The model number adding wiring diagram something usually comes up.
It may not be the exact model number but will follow the same wiring principle colours etc.
Sometimes if your confident with wiring you can work it out yourself with the aid of a multimeter.

What circuits are cut & where will likely depend on who fitted it.

Your best bet is tracing the wires from the unit itself & seeing where they've been joined to the vehicle's wiring.

Hopefully the fitter will just have cut a vehicle wire & attached the unit's wires as all you'll need to do is rejoin the cut wires.
