The wiring harness is hanging down in my boot area which had pulled down a section of boot liner cloth. (V8S). So I was thinking of epoxing some cable tie fixings to the inner body, and cable tieing the harness up to them. Is there any downsides to this? The epoxy won't melt the fibre glass or anything?

Thanks.

It's perfectly OK. The fibreglass is made using epoxy resin. Just make sure you don't apply any high loads in the middle of a big body panel or else the flexing might eventually lead to crazing on the outside.

Great, thanks. I don't think that there will be much weight involved. Just a matter of holding the harness up and out of the way.
