That's not correct. The auction-house can arrange shipping for some lots. Para 15 of the T&Cs says :
"At the Buyer's request, we may be able to assist in arranging shipment of lots. Otherwise, collection of lots is the Buyer's sole responsibility. Buyers will be required to produce proof of identity on collection of the lot. If a Buyer arranges for a third party to collect a sold lot on the Buyer's behalf, we will require from the Buyer written evidence of the third party's authority to collect the lot in advance of releasing it. "
Third party shipping is easily available (for a fee). There's a nearby branch of Mailboxes Etc in Colchester ; they specialise in collecting, packing and posting auction lots. "Written evidence of authority" in practice just means sending the auction-house an e-mail saying that you authorise them to release lots x, y & z to MBE for collection. They typically charge around £30-40 for a small-medium parcel with postal insurance, and can provide an estimate in advance if you send them an enquiry with a link to the relevant auction lot.
