How does it manage to have an MOT and not exceed emission/noise limits ?
Being a 2000 registered (W reg) car, the emission regs will be a lot less (i.e. More tolerant), but will need a working catalytic converter to meet them. It passed MoT tests in 2023 (advisory on reg plate lamps) and 2021 with no advisory. As to noise, well the MoT test advises the tester that it should be similar in volume to an 'equivalent' model of car. But there is nothing to compare it to. So as long as it isn't ear-drum shattering and has some sort of silencer, it should be OK. I've had some pretty loud bikes pass the MoT with 'exhaust noisy' as just an advisory too. :

Since ONE Speed Six is close to the 0.5% CO limit , I would have thought TWO would have blown it As to noise, well the MoT test advises the tester that it should be similar in volume to an 'equivalent' model of car. It's a percentage, it doesn't matter if it's one litre of exhaust gas or nine squadzillion litres, 0.5% is 0.5%
You can watch the live auction by clicking the red button here :
https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auction-catalog...
That webpage says that the auction began at 10.00 this morning, but it hasn't yet gone live now (10.20). I checked the auctioneer's own website, which says 11.00.
The sale begins with lot 601. The TVR is lot 846, so it will probably be on around 90 minutes into the sale.

The auction's going much slower than I expected. 12.30 now, and only up to lot 705. But I just noticed that there's a huge gap in the lot numbers, which jump from 724 to 801, which is where the car lots begin.
£100,000 to £120,000 estimate for a Ford Sierra Cosworth ?? The world has gone mad ....
BTW, to listen to the auctioneer, you'll need to click the little speaker logo in the bottom-left corner of the live link window.
