I'm after a wall mounted Solar battery conditioner/maintainer for a garage with no power.

Any tried and tested recommendations?
Thanks

PS anyone want to buy a 240 to 12V battery conditioner?!

I've recently put together something similar to what you require from various sources.
It works a treat, links below.

Solar Panel

Controler Unit
https://uk.eco-worthy.com/products/20a-30a-pwm-lcd...

Extension cable if you have a trickle charger fitted.

TO ADD
I am not an electrician or solar panel expert...

Hi Dusty. I fitted one of these a couple of years ago for my sister who has a V8s and it works perfectly. Due to limited space we had to go for the 20W Duo which has performed well but if your not limited for size I would go for the 40W version. When connecting up, it is easy to connect it the wrong way round but it does no harm

You don't need more than 50 watts if you are just maintaining battery (float) and have a small drain on the car (alarm tracker etc).

You need an MPPT charge controller NOT an PWM charger as listed above. The PWM chargers are not efficient as they only operate within a small voltage window.

Suitable MPPT controller

Make sure the panel is not visible from the ground and make it as secure as possible - don't ask me how I know smile

I've been away from PH for 15 years or so and now having got the very dusty Griff out of 10 year storage I have popped back in.
Incredible that PH is still the font of TVR Knowledge. Thanks all, and to @Petrolted for all that hard work at the start.

Lots of great kit listed here, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I'll consider the installation. My garage roof only gets sunlight in the second half of the day so I'll have a word with the gardener for some extra tree trimming smile

photovoltaic (PV) panels work in daylight but yes sunshine is the best free source.

Hi Dusty and welcome back. It's not the same here anymore but at least the TVR forum is still good smile
