It's morphed into quite an event, all aspects of TVR ownership covered, from purchase to upgrade, maintain to modify, and track to race.

What's happening
Works drivers and champions will be in attendance, challenge teams and sprinters -- as well as a few cars for you to lust after. They include Michael Caine - Castle TVR, Steve Guglielmi - Motorsport, Team TMS and the RT Racing Thorpedo plus Topcats Racing (testing permitting) for hot laps too.
Vendors
ACT/Mark Adams/Austec, who together have become a major force in TVR induction and upgrades, will be launching their new Cerbera upgrade package. This includes completely reworked heads, carbon fibre trumpets and reworked airbox, ECU and fuelling. An option is a completely new big bore exhaust system, including equal length headers and racing cats. It sounds amazing.
TVR Power will have several cars there too including the new Taraka II Chimaera, while V8 Developments can show you what can be done with your engine...on the inside.
But its not just about engines. Newlun Designs is bringing heavily modified cars including the wild purple Chimaera and the wide-body T350. There's an example Tuscan too, with £15,000 of equipment inside -- including TV, DVD and PlayStation.
Other vendors include:
- Matrim who can finish your car's interior in any shape and colour of leather you wish.
- AbsolutelyShocks for shocks and bush packages
- Toyo for the latest road and track tyres
- Leven Technology for servicing, accessories and tuning kits
- Offord Motor Co for TVR servicing.
On-track action
If you prefer to drive, you can get on track with the friendliest and fastest TVR nuts in the country. With beginners and novice master-classes from Michael Caine to intermediate and full Pro demo sessions, there's fun for everyone.
There are not many slots left though -- so book on Easytrack's site (link below). If you are on track you will be featured on the Thinkology DVD of the event, on track and in the gallery.

Except That it Was'nt built by Newlun
! It was actually built built by PH' er , Hot wheels aka Andy Howlett - I know this 'cos i watched whilst he built it
It was commissioned by NS himself via TVR Power IIRC
and has been discussed on Ph a few times - As was the Blue T350 that Newlun Did Design ,but pics of that seem less prevalent
. Incidently ,Andy is now working on a Very Interesting TVR Race car project, the first of which ,will appear
next year

Unfortunately, I'm not going to make this as the car just isn't ready yet
. Engine and transmission are in, but its still some weeks [months] off being track-dayable. I was so keen to be at the event I paid for a place some months ago! It isn't going to be used now, so if anyone wants to make me an offer I can't refuse....
I assume putting a place up for grabs is allowed? If not, then there will be a place 'reserved' on track with no car to fill it. Also not too sure of the logistics of passing on a place as tickets aren't being issues - but I have the email confirmation of the place/payment etc.
Drop me an email anyway if anyone wants my slot, and if any of the organisers want to confirm it's OK/forbidden to pass on a place, then let me know also. Email through profile....or wball@indexsystems.co.uk, which goes to the same place.

All absolutely true (and I've had me wrist smacked!)
Andy did build the car originally and it has some reworking/paint by Newluns...who use the car for Demos/shows etc.
Not sure how this came about really. I never said they built the car etc and Gregg never told me he did! I've always put down that its a Newlun car. Which it is.
Still, apologys to Andy (who is indeed a PHer) sorry for any misinterpretations.

'Cos if I've really b*ggered my engine at the Brunters Charity day (should the oil pressure *really* read zero at 145mph?), an injection of Yank muscle might be just the thing!

Me too, If I go I've got to leave by 3pm as its my other halfs birthday - if I'm not back by the time she gets home from work my life won't be worth living.
Was originally booked up for a local classic meet in Buntingford but the more I keep hearing about this the more I want to go.

I'm gutted, My car is still not back from Peninsula after being hit a month ago and I was really looking forward to this event. I may just turn up for the atmosphere anyway..I'll park the M3 out of site ;-)
