Mixed oils in V8... leave or change?

I usually use 20w50 in my V8, but I was stuck and had to add 1.5L of 5w30. Overall there is only about 1,500 miles on the oil, so it is still like fresh honey.
Should I change the oil for fresh 20w50, or realistically will the 5w30 make any difference, so just run until the normal oil change is needed?

Running low is dramatically more damaging than anything else so you did the right thing.

Mixing grades is no big deal. Ideally you'd avoid mixing different brands / types since you can't tell how the additives will interact.
