Boot solenoid

Anyone know where to get hold of Chimaera boot / door solenoids? Think I have a deceased boot one (at least, it is stuck in the open position!)

Mine failed on a Chimaera many moons ago in 2015. I bought a cheap generic one off eBay and made that one work (there are3 wire and 5 wire options I believe). I had to do the same on a Boxster boot release a year earlier. .

Thanks, have ordered a generic one which does indeed look exactly like the existing one

You may need to swap an internal spring under the rubber boot. A@
