Looks like the cold weather has done my washer pump.
Does any one know an equivalent that will fit .
I did see a post that said it was the same as a MK 5 Cortina.

It is available from TVR parts but at £20 + vat+ postage it’s makes it over £30.

Thanks

remove it see if there are any part numbers visible. I had a similar issue with my porker and found an identical item (with the part number) for about £10 on amazon

It’s a Chimaera 4.0 2000

It’s this morning job to take the old one out.
I did change it in 2015. 😂

Now having changed the one way valve and also a new pump I still have a problem.
Pump turns on but no output at the screen . Looks like it maybe the tube needs replacing
Does anyone know the route of the washer tube. I know it goes in the DS inner wing but is it accessible. How does it get to the jets from the wing and can you get access to it.
Would it be possible to join one end of it to a length of new tube and pull it through.
I need a bit more investigation when the weather improves but just thinking of the possibilities.
My Chim is a later model with the wipers inside the bulkhead.
Can I get access if the dash top is removed or possibly by the top of the clutch pedal.
It’s hissing down at the moment with a dodgy forecast as well so it’s not an immediate task.

Thanks
