Taking a Tuscan to France???

Hi All

I am driving to France next week and I have a Tuscan S MkII and because of the laws in France does anybody know what the situation is with the lights on the Tuscan MkII's (ie changing the light dazzle etc)?

Is there stickers you buy or has anyone any suggestions?

Don't bother with all that, I never did with my Griff and never had any hasles. However, do pass by my house just south of Paris and give me a ride in your new Tuscan

Doing the same in three weeks!

Took the Chim a couple of years ago never bothered, did take a standard light conversion kit from Halfrauds though just in case.

Charlie - I bought a standard Halfords pack to demonstrate I was holding a set, but also carried some tape in case I needed to actually mask the lights. Also - would recommend having a look at former postings on this forum and on the Le Mans forum as there is some useful advice on what to take. In short

- headlamp set as discussed
- safety triangle
- spare bulb set
- safety jacket (varying schools of thought on this)
- all paperwork expected
- and NO radar/GPS detectors anywhere!!

If you are driving down in the South East - try the D4 near the Ardeche Gorge and any roads in the Parc Vercors near Lyon. Amazing driving

Been to france quite a few times now in TVR,s and have never put the deflectors on but have kept them in the boot just in case (stupid english man mr germdan)you will enjoy the the roads they are great.

14 of the Surrey TVRs will be in the Champagne Region during the first weekend in September. Looks like France is the destination of choice for next month!. Take some headlight converters (fitting them really depends on how much night driving you intend on doing) Take the old triangles (2 is good!), 2 cans of tyre weld, a first aid kit, yellow vests are not compulsary (but they could look very fetching ). A box of bulbs, fuses and a phone should see you through.

Have a fabulous time and take loads of photos.
