Rovergauge Connection issues
Discussion
I have my rover gauge which can't connect anymore to the ECU.
The car runs fine and the Rovergauge used to work in a not so distant past.
I have tried again today and the light on the USB connector keeps flashing red.
The COM port is the 3 in the software and in the computer.
I seem to remember that the baud rate needs adjusting as well but I can't find the instructions.
Can anybody help?
Thanks
Philippe

When I first got Rovergauge, I spent ages trying to figure out why it wouldn’t connect, turns out although it looked right, only two of the three pins on the socket had mated, so definitely worth a thorough inspection again,. I did have to select the com port, but didn’t have to do anything with baud rate..
The baud rate is 1/128th of a megahertz. It should get set automatically if you're using an FTDI adapter. You could check the adapter by doing a loopback test if you want.
I seem to remember it needs a 400-ish Ohm pull-up resistor across two of the connector pins. Is that still connected?
