Does anyone have any experience with the Bola B7 spider-type wheels as a replacement for factory 18" spiders?

As far as I can tell they are direct replica wheels, just wondering if that is indeed the case?

I consider b7 too and as i’m in France, quite difficult to get these details
Many thanks

Not seen any close up, but from pictures ive seen, the Bola spokes are not as curved as the spider wheels, and are more flat faced.
You need to see them yourself to judge.

OK, they certainly do seem to be less concave than the OE spiders - however I guess that's just the wheels they chose for the photos which may be corrected with ET? Not sure...

There are rumours that they are hardier than the spiders - albeit heavier? I'm basically just looking for 'as original as possible' to replace my current wheels.

I have them on my Tuscan, Lighter than the OE spiders, they look similar but not the same, as said above less concave but in all honesty most people would be hard pressed to tell the difference once you get the centre caps and stickers on. Nice thing about them is being able to change the offset on the front when ordering so you don't have to run spacers.

Beautiful car, Phil thumbup

Indeed, one can see that they are definitely not as concave as the spiders, but as you say, I think it'd be difficult aside from a very keen eye to notice a difference - particularly when centre caps etc are on!

Now to find the correct ET for a T350...!

They will make them in any ET you want. I’m going to get a set for the Sagaris and keep the spiders as a spare OE set..

Hello. Did you go witg the following sizes?

FRONT: 8.5 x 18" 39 offset (to include the equivalent of the 3mm spacer)

REAR: 8.5 x 18" 33 offset

I’m looking to go down this route too for my mk1 which has the S front callipers.

Does anyone know if the Bola Spiders are stronger and less prone to buckle than the TVR version?

I would go for 7.5" on the front with a 225 tyre . The sidewalls would be at a much better angle , it would be lighter and you could adjust the rack for more steering lock .

I was thinking about that option currently on 255 35 18 on the rear and 225 35 18 on the front and its a bit harsh on the front on our awful roads
