would you buy a yellow tvr

Only reason i ask is because im thinking of doing exactly that, buying a new T350 in midas halcyon.

But i wondered how many potential buyers of a second hand car would buy this colour, thinking of resale potential.

BTW im not asking if this is your favourite colour just how many would consider it if buying second hand

Definitely mate - yellow's a good colour for a sportscar.

There was recently a very successful 'yellow TVR' meet, which I think had a rather substantial attendance (I'm sure someone will post some piccies soon).

I really don't think you;d have any trouble in the used market

Personally I think Chims, T350's and Cerbies look great in yellow. Tuscans look awful (and I know my dealer took one in on p/x that took ages to sell).

If you're worried about resale I would pick another colour personally. If you love yellow - get a yellow one.

Last month's Sprint mag has a T350 in Midas Halcyon - it looks totally stunning. There's also a lovely Yellow Sagaris in there too - again looks the mutts.

When I was looking for the Chim, I wanted a yellow one because the show off the curves so well. I say do it - you will have no problem shifting it on.

I had trouble selling my BRIGHT RED XK8 Convertable a couple of years ago, apparently because it was red! Personally I thought she was gorgeous! But don't forget, a TVR buyer is a TOTALLY different animal to the usual used car buyer. I think if someone's after a used Tiv, if it's a goodun' I don't think yellow would put him/her off at all. Personally I LOVE that colour on a TVR

Seconded, best Tamora I've seen is Maddog's

T350 I think the best colour is Red 'Lobb's T350' a is quite superb

Maddogs is possibly the most polished car in the world also

Horrible Yellow Tuscans? Is unrepentant mad ? I've had zillions of people telling me that the colour is fantastic, though the anthracite wheels certainly help. Saying that, if we were all the same, what a boring place it would be. My advice....GO BUY A YELLOW TVR, IT'S STILL THE FASTEST COLOUR...HONEST!

FATTOJAPPO's Tuscan is the yellowest yellow car I ever saw. But I like it and boy it looks quick!

IMO the best coulor I ever saw on a Tiv was that brilliant orange that the Sagaris was shown-off in at it's unvailing all those moons ago, but I heard somewhere that TVR don't offer that coulor anymore because it was too expensive?
