Only 20A, so for race use only, Penny.https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/brise-12v-competit...
You might as well just run a total-loss battery, a lithium one at that.

Battery voltage could be as high as 14.5 volts with light-weight alternator, voltage above 12 always keeps me happy when thinking about quality of ignition coil HT voltage and fuel pump speed, am a touch funny that way though
Yes, definitely for race use and daytime driving only, total current draw of all engine circuits would need to be known before choosing a 20 Amp or 40 Amp output alternator or higher
Unit could be fitted at home before driving to the track in the daytime
The 93mm unit can be supplied @ 40, 60 or 95 Amps output which really does open up the job, 95 Amps is a st load for a TVR
Mmmmmm, there's also this

Probably loads of them about the shops

You can't just swap a 12v battery for a 14v battery. Your alternator will not produce enough power to charge it.
This video from a US guy (featuring the very same battery as posted above) who writes books on the subject, explains what changes you need to make. I doubt that even he is familiar the the dodgy electrics in a TVR!

Thank you for your wisdom, Luke, but we were talking total-loss race car systems... ...at least, I was. This video from a US guy (featuring the very same battery as posted above) who writes books on the subject, explains what changes you need to make.
