Not exactly in a prime position though are they??
I drive past there most days and it always looks deserted. It's on a main road that you can't stop on, with limited parking to, and a slighty complicated road system going on. Also doesn't look very inviting.
They'd be better off with a place half the size closer into London, maybe Chelsea or alike.

...with limited parking...
I thought it had 20+ parking places underground.
Haven't actually visited the place, just drive past it lots. Like I said, doesn't look very inviting at all.
Lots of places have underground parking, but how the hell is anyone meant to know about it unless they're told!! From the outside, looks like you have to park outside of the front doors.

Hi everyone,
Thought I would say a quick hello to you all, now that we have been up and running for a few weeks.Would any one be interested in me posting day to day ins and outs of whats happening here in London, how my cars are running, any problems if they come up and how they are being fixed? we are running 3xSagaris/1xT350/2xTuscan.
I also thought it might be an opportunity to help get across 1st hand information about whats happening at TVR now and in the future(but not about any new models that may or may not be coming up....pain of death and all that!)as being factory owned sometimes gives me a more accurate picture of whats going on...not always though.
Any feedback is welcome..........

This rumour and TVR now pulling out of helping resurrect Silverstone TVR, all sounds as if Moleskins pockets are not as deep as we had all hopedIf this is not the case its going to give a very negative view to the press, and once they get a sniff of blood it could be curtains for TVR.

Get your bids ready...not too long now before Moleskins cuts and runs!
Your schadenfreude would know no bounds if that were to happen would it David? You and countless other morons could come on here and say "I told you so" with your chests puffed out as you gleefully watched the company go under.
And what a vomit inducing spectacle that would be.
Glad to see Unrepentant has improved his manners - must have gone to that anger management class after all.
When the company does go to the wall/get sold again, I won't post - because I know that you will know who was right and wrong, so thanks for that.
If TVR goes down rather than being sold, I will be extrememly unhappy because the guy who made it a success (PW) grabbed the dosh rather than organising a sound succession with a bid based on strong automative engineering experience and with a proper business plan.
Why do people get so annoyed and frankly unjustifiably rude if someone does not think Smolenski is the answer? This opinion, as you know, has been held by me (A genuine TVR fan) from the outset. The above is a perfectly valid point of view based on my experience and validated by events.
'Nuff said - have a nice day

What's the problem with that? Sarcasm does not dignify your opinion of me or what's happening at TVR.
Smolenski is just the latest caretaker of the company and one that I have never believed would be good for it. He was not and hopefully is not the only solution for the company that I would like to see thriving, which it obviously is not at the moment.
As has been pointed out to you before, I have owned five Tiv's, supported the cars on circuits around the country & at Le Mans and I think that qualifies me as 'a genuine fan'.

Oh sorry. I didn't realise that you were a business guru in the David James / Lee Iacocca mould. There was me thinking that you were just a junior doctor with dubious political leanings and all the time you were Somerset's answer to Gerry Robinson.
I bow to your obviously superior business acumen and experience. Could you please give us all the benefit of your wisdom and outline your strategy for the future of TVR.
If only Rachel Elnaugh had called you in I have no doubt that she'd still have her business.
This is very possible as they are opening a Service Centre in Kings Cross and I have heard the rumour that sales will move there to!!!!
The premises in Chiswick are too small to have a service centre there and parking for sales, so i think it makes sense.
As long as they are still there when I pick up my Saggy.

As an outsider, following this thread, (Who has never owned a TVR, and would never consider a speed six engined one, as I like to sleep at night, but would, if they dropped a Ford or Chevvy V8 in..
...), it is obvious that you are both totally passionate about the marque, so I can't see what the problem is...... Surely, under Peter Wheeler TVR was close to going under a couple of years ago anyway, before Smolenski stepped in to save them????
Im still here!!!
Watching and reading.
as for my profile, I have been pondering something more interesting than just a pic and an email address but havn't quite got around to it as i have had other things to keep busy with over the last few weeks.
as for my posts..mmmmmm....yes they do seem to have gone-answers on a postcard how that happened please?
And also....'reliable sources' and 'knowing someone who knows someone who has told me'.....doesn't always mean that they have the FULL picture. 2 plus 2 doesn't equal 5. at the risk of sounding too biased I will also point out that most of you have never met N.S (Bosscerbera aside-Hi Phill) and it doesnt matter one way or another what you or I think of him personaly...the truth is that he and his funding have saved TVR yes,SAVED! for all you romantic day dreamers out there PW was in it for the MONEY.Now before you all howl in protest, that was not a criticism,he was a business man and knew that TVR needed fresh blood and financing to survive, something that he was either unable or unwilling to provide. Has any one noticed that very few of the threads on here are discussing problems with cars post PW? don'forget that the Sagaris was going to be PW's last car launched...and I bet that if you put your clear headed hat on, all of you are thankfull that didnt happen.....a lot of you are so happy to moan and groan about NS this and NS that, but he didnt buy sub standard parts from the sub-continent and when things started going bang suggest that 'well what do you expect-its a racing engine' Take those Rose coloured glasses off guys....TVR now makes more reliable ,fun, better developed cars than it has done in it's history...and that is only going to continue...try and think of something constructive to say guys. I don't think some of you grasp the idea that there are many people out there who are considering buying a TVR for the first time as they have heard of all the improvements in build, warranty etc...and foolishly they log onto pisstonheads to get un-biased information! Now I do know that not everyone is negative but come on-try and be a little bit objective, you are putting off people who may well be the the future base of TVR customers.
Responses eagerly anticipated!
