I am about to purchase a 1996 Griffith 500 and am looking for a wooden steering wheel for it. Does anyone have one they want to sell or have any ideas where I can get one at a sensible price please?

But you will need a Union Jack cushion as well , they complement each other , it’s a must do modification

I have a Nardi Woodrim Steering Wheel (TVR optional extras many moons ago), but what do you call sensible money due to their rareity.

Had one on my V8S, lovely wheel, but very slippery on hot days when your hands are a bit sweaty.
It had a lovely chrome finish to the spokes but they just reflected the sun into your eyes when it was behind you. Wouldn't have another.

Wooden wheels also have a bit of a reputation for sending wooden splinters into your wrists if the wheel buckles during a heavy impact. Not something you'd expect or plan for, but it's another reason to consider function over form.

I have just sold my Chimaera 450 SC and that had a Nardi wooden wheel. I wasn't a fan personally and not sure the guy who bought it is and was looking to change for a stock leather wheel I think.

If you PM your details over I can send them over to him to see if you could do a swap deal or something?
