Can't Open Doors on My Chimaera
Discussion
Hello all,
My Chim's been off the road for a good while. The starter motor and fuel pump weren't working and after all the usual replacement of the relays and pressing of the inertia switch etc didn't work, I put it down to probable immobiliser issues and thought I'd just address it at a later date when I have time to get it back on the road. Now when I've gone to open the doors, although the solenoids are clicking when I press the mirror buttons, and the battery is fully charged as I leave it on a trickle charger, the doors aren't opening. Could anyone kindly suggest another way to get in please? I seem to remember there's a 'secret' way to get in. Could anyone possibly contact me privately to let me know how to do this please, as I realise it's probably not sensible to share this publicly. Incidentally, the fobs haven't worked for a long time so I just used the little gadget that you press into the thing on the steering column.
Here's hoping
Steve.
