Questions for MegaSquirt users.
• Who is the best tuner/closest to south coast? Will no doubt be a balance between the two.
• What form of idle control are you using?
• Is idle control open or closed loop?
• Does anyone have an .msq file for as large an engine as possible? Have to confess I’m not doing this on a Rv8 but a 6.7L 508HP small block chevy.

The engine capacity isn't important. What matters is the cylinder, ignition and injector arrangement.

Engine and injector capacity is accomodated by changing the base fuel requirement.

Tuners are few and far between, the two respected in the Tvr circles are Shaun of MS2 tuning and Dale of Bailey performance but they are further north.
I think Lloyd specialist developments are further south and Surrey rolling road too.
I ran the oe stepper motor on the Chimaera 400 engine, ran it in open loop as never seemed to get closed loop control to work properly.
Most opt for the simpler Bosch 2 wire valve instead which is probably a better solution.

Closed Loop is fine, however you should satisfactorily tune with Open Loop before switching to CL. I have had no hassles with Stepper in last 20 yrs - works fine.
