Probably because once you have got one, you want another one only quicker, it must be something like if this one is so much fun imagine what a quicker one will be like. I know since buying my S2 I seriously want a Griffith (I know the Cerbera and Tuscan are out of reach). So maybe you’ll see another one for sale.

I have to agree. My S 1.5 is a great deal of fun and has taught me a lot about driving this type of car, but the reality is that it doesn't offer me enough power now. I want something with more grunt and rather than spend hundreds if not thousands on upgrading the V6 in mine, I aim to purchase a Griffith as soon as funds allow. As for changes of from Griffiths to Cerberra's etc I can only voice the opinion of my RO who has done the exact swap, which was that he wanted the extra power and the space. He also loved the shape. He said himself that he would love to own one of all of them as they all offer different driving experiences. Mine will be a 4.3 pre-cat Griffith, not to fussed about the colour...........please !!! Cheers Mark

I had an s 1.5 for a year, traded it up for a 350i for the power but more the looks. Then I saved like hell and got a Chimaera for some real power!! I`ve had her for two and a bit years, and I`ve got to say I`m often tempted to get a 4.5/5.0, but for me the 4.0 is good enough for now.

Jason, I went from a stock 350i, to the same 350i with a 4L BV engine, and them to a Griff 500 - a sort of logical progression in terms of power, if not money! What really impressed me at a trackday this weekend gone, was not only the extra grunt from the engine, but how much more braking power the car had, and the amount of grip on turn in. Big grins all round!! Neil.

Mine's a company car and with the new tax regulations April 2002 the tax bill is £6200 so I'm arfraid mine's for sale. Trading up to a SKODA! and may the Lord have mercy on my soul.
