Squeal, when engine running. Not brakes

Heard this a few times, on & off. Sometimes it happens when slowing down, sometimes at others. Noticeable yesterday. Diff oil just changed and not a drop of leakage from anywhere on car atall.

Are there occasions the diff or drive shaft can let out this sound?

Yes i would say belts too, does the squeal get louder when you rev the engine? our T350 did that, castle tightened up the Alternator belt, problem solved !!!

Thankyou. But I dont think it's the belt, cos it feels right. Noise isnt that kind of squeal either - more like a tuneful 'hmmmm' at top C or thereabouts. Any piano tuners out there?

Wheel bearing? Wouldn't have said it was TOP C though.

Adjustable fuel regulator? fuel pump?

Fan belt? or too obvious?

Could be a bearing in the alternator or water pump. Try running the engine with the belt off to eliminate these (not for too long though!)

With the engine running, just touch a wire brush to the inside of the belt for a few seconds and see if that cures it.

Be careful though!!
