recomend a recovery service ?

Currently I am insured with A Manning, and they also offer a roadside recovery service. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with this, and do you think it is better or worse than the RAC or AA ?

I've just had an excellent experience with the AA, I only had roadside assistance and due to some excellent pleading by the mechanic on my behalf, they upgraded me so that my car could be taken to a garage (they don't normally do this).

Very friendly service, highly recommended.

I highly recommend the AA as they've always been brilliant with my TVRs.

AA again, get the £58 part and labour cover a bargain and £1000 claim limit.

I recomend the AA, ever since I took out cover, it's never broken down. Don't know how they do it.

AA for me, never a member before but had the number on my mobile, joined when I broke down. Cerb got taken 15 miles in different direction to local dealer and his supervisor gave me a lift 10 miles home...the guy operating transporter said winching the beast abroad, that TVR where his favorite cars as he reeled off all the models and even ended with " I once had one of those saggys on the back once"

Haven't used it, but have the very same.

I found Norwich Union very cheap and the two call outs (alarm related) were dealt with promptly. They use RAC so you can be assured of good coverage in the UK.

Full cover with homestart, onward travel, etc is £85.

I used Mannings recovery ( yesterday damnit ) no problems at all...

Regarding the AA, may sure they put something between the straps & your car, unless you like vertical speed stripes, that is.

That said, good service, especially the warranties they do.

Just signed with NU for cover abrord. Way cheaper than the others.
FWIW, NU have bought the RAC lock stock, so they use thier services.
