No mate....I would think the Essex lot will go up on Sunday morning....I certainly haven't made any plans for an overnighter........

I beleive the aim is to start at 10 as the traffic in and around Hunstanton is horrific. First Saturday after the schools broke up isn't gong to help.

The main clog points are the Hardwick roundabout (the one with the flyover) near Kings Lynn (all points from North,South,East & West conferge here - A47,A10) which feeds onto the A149 main Hunstanton road and also potential queues on the approach to Hunstanton itself. I live between Downham Market and Kings Lynn and know how to avoid the Hardwick roundabout and the clog points just north of it - if it`s really bad, (and if you are approaching from the west) it may be better to go through the centre of Kings Lynn (you will pick up signs for Hunstanton in any case). This way you will miss the main bottlenecks at the Hardwick and emerge two more roundabouts up on the A149
Ok then! You might want to print this off and take with you! 
For those approaching from the west (A47/A17), these instructions start from the roundabout where the A47 & A17 converge on the outskirts of Kings Lynn (there is a "Premier Travel Inn" on this roundabout)
Continue east on the A47 (towards Norwich) from this roundabout which changes to a dual carraigeway. After less than half a mile later you will see a main sign for Kings Lynn. Ignore this as this will take you onto the Hardwick Roundabout where the queues will be if busy!! Instead, turn off where you see the local sign for South Lynn (if the traffic is bad for the Hardwick, it may be backed up to this point!!). At the roundabout (above the A47) follow the South Lynn sign onto a new road (this is a re-generation area with no buildings yet, just the road). Continue on the road going straight over two mini roundabouts (ignore the South Lynn sign on the first mini roundabout which tells you to go left - trust me on this ok!!!)
You will then come to another roundabout where you should go straight across and through the South Tower (which looks like a small castle with archway) and follow "Town centre" signs. Just stick on this road heading straight on and after a mile or so, you will enter a 3 lane one way system, continue on this keeping to the left lane. After about half a mile, you will pick up signs for Hunstanton via the A148. Just follow this road passing docks and gas terminals on your left before a large retail park on your right with many car dealerships (including Martin Brundles VW dealership). You will then pass through a surburbion area (North/South Wootton), continue following the signs for Hunstanton and you will eventually joing the A149 main Hunstanton road at the Knights Hill (hotel) roundabout.
If you decide to continue onto the Hardwick Roundabout and you then come across big queues (if it is backing up here, it means you will also have heavy traffic up the A149 Hunstanton Road right up to the Knights Hill roundabout where you would join if you take my short cut!) all is not lost as you could follow signs back into Kings Lynn passing a Tesco and retail park where you will be able to follow the "Town centre" signs and eventually joining my short cut route through the South Tower!
It probably sounds a little daunting but it`s easy really! I will be up there on the Sunday so if you get lost, you can thump me ok!

For South Lynn, exit left off the dual carriageway (A47) up the slip road onto the roundabout above the dual carriageway, then first exit off roundabout sign posted for South Lynn.
