Recently got my first TVR (a Tuscan) and would like to do some reading up before doing any fettling.

I understand the Sagaris manual is the closest thing to a Haynes manual that is largely applicable to the Tuscan as well, but this is not in print.

Does anyone know where to source it or have one to sell?

Thanks
Andy

Rare as hens teeth I am afraid. Ebay about the only source from time to time, but expect to pay in excess of £200 for when one does come up

On the plus side I think I paid £100 for mine 5 years ago so from an capital gains tax free investment point of view they are pretty Steller! So even at £200 you will probably get back a lot more in time biggrin

Thanks, yes understood they're rear. I don't mind paying the going rate. Thought this might be a good place to ask.

I would have thought after 5 years you must have read yours cover to cover and not need it anymore!? biggrin

Is there any reason nobody has tried to get the rights to print more copies of this? Not sure what the situation with it is but it seems madness that it goes for so much.

I bought one off eBay last week…It cost over £200 but after reading through it I believe it is money well spent.

Good question. I see the chap that wrote this was a poster on the forum but I don’t know if he is still active.

Good to hear it’s worth the money. I’m just a bit too late to the party…always the way!

I set an alert on eBay for anything sagaris related and up it popped within a couple of months.

Lol fraid not, unlike the doom and gloom neysayers the Sag has proved totally reliable. The only thing I have used the manual for was to find the air con circuit board when it pack up. 2 mins cleaning up the multi plug and hey presto freezing cold air

Sorry, I wasn’t insinuating that you would have needed to use it that much…just that you’d had it for ample time to have leafed through it and memorised it smile

Good to hear you’ve actually had little use for the manual…definitely sounds to me like you don’t need it (hint hint) wink

I had one of these manuals but sold it many years ago. I found many errors in it and red lined the manual with corrections (I used it for my Tamora). I should have photocopied these pages before selling for everyone to use. If the current owner is reading this it would be helpful if you could share the pages with everyone.

I would be happy to digitise it but its copyrighted. Unless Graham Varley releases the copyright I can't. I know he used to be on here a lot, does anyone know him ?

I was only referring to the red lined pages not the whole manual

So you were the rascal who outbid me! After my initial bid eBay decided that my primary address was not in the U.K (news to me) and wouldn’t let me increase. Oh well, live to bid another day..

I would be happy to look at getting it republished in some form if there's a desire for physical editions, or digitising a copy in high quality (can get access to archive quality scanners etc) - might drop Graham a note to see if he would be interested.
