Help! No sidelights & MOT Monday :(
Discussion
I have no sidelights, but do have brake lights. This was since I left the headlights switched on and an Accumate charger left on for a week.
After looking, there does not seem to be a fuse for the side lights. Can't see a relay either (but I'm happy to be corrected).
What could the culprit be? I have already tried new bulbs...no joy.
Any help greatly appreciated.

There are no fuses for side and tail, it's a bad do
Red and White cable supplies front sidelights, rear tail lights and number plate lights
The good news is that you have front side lights working which means the fault is after the switch and lights control unit if fitted
Keep thinking Red and White cable, this cable going down to the rear will have lost its supply
Now go here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Read the topic from start to finish as someone there explains how to get to and check plugs at the B Post
Good luck in getting sorted

Penelope... Looking at a diagram you’ve posted before, would I be correct in saying the dash illumination uses the same wire/output ? If so, it might be worth checking they’re working.
Good post, the window switch illumination could be checked to possibly narrow the failed part of the circuit down a bitRadio and window switches illumination will very likely be connected to the same supply, possibly temperature control wheel
Instrument cluster could be on a different supply if there's a control unit in the circuit
Only know of the above possibilities thanks to Steve D
Have never viewed a diagram that shows the complete side/tail lights circuits
Nice one RUSSELLM
I pulled out all the fuses one by one and checked. All good.
Then went to try and turn the lights on and wiggle the wires to see if there was a break. After I switched the lights on, they worked
I'll take that Maybe a loose wire or connection inside the fuse box. Who knows. I just want the thing MOT'd so I can drive her again after nearly 4 years of being off the road.
Fingers crossed.
Thanks all.

I've and this with my Griff - took ages to figure it out. The dash lights were working and I think the front lights, but rear were not. Turns out the push button switch has 2 outputs, and one had failed within the switch. New switch sorted it. There is a big multi plug behind the B pillar next to the passenger seat to check out too, as its easy to rule out.
