Back window cleaner?

Anyone know what's good to clean up the aledgedly clear plastic part of the rear window. Cheers. Baldy.

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It will "soak into" the rear vinyl window and remove rubbing marks from the aluminium struts, soften the screen and bring back the shine. It is a UV protectant and will protect the screen from further damage and also keep it flexible when stored.

hi polisher, my screen was mint when i bought the car in Feb 04 but now there are some scratches, where the roof has been stowed, havent got any dreaded hazing yet. will the 303 stuff mask the scratches somewhat? they arent too bad really its just i notice them and that bothers me.

Let me know if so will order (im guessing you stock it?)

I found this www.renovointernational.com/products/p_wpolish.php by Renovo to be excellent. The little £4.99 bottle has done a couple of cleans of my back screen with plenty left.

Where do you get the 303 stuff from?

The window in my 500SL is plastic and needs a bit of TLC.

If its a fraction of the cost of Hindsight then I reckon its worth a punt?

Seriously, I have a can of this stuff and it is amazing, makes the plastic realy soft to the touch and seals the surface.

I tried for about half an hour last night to get the strut rubbing marks off with 303 and failed.

As a last resort I used TurtleWax Bug & Tar remover which got it off in 2 mins. No marks, no damage to the screen.

I 'finished' it afterwards with 303 just in case.
