Got caught up behind a very nasty crash in the New Forest on Wednesday. From what I could see (the road was blocked and we were diverted away), it involved a red TVR (Chimera I think...). From the subsequent news report, the two occupants needed to be cut out of the car.

When we drove back past there a few hours later, the road was still shut and the TVR was still sat in the middle of the road as the accident investigatiors continued their work.

Fingers and toes crossed the injuries were not too has and hopefully nobody from here.

The New Forest area can be lethal.

So many lost tourists, they signal left, you go to overtake and they then turn right.

Hope the people all got out OK.

too true... it was at a junction, but i didn't see it happen, so i'm not going to suggest what might have caused the crash. The other car didn't have too much of the front end left to it. Hopefully they were cut out simply because the services couldn't find the door handles!
