Electric window motor rebuild

What's involved? Is it simply stripping the thing and replacing brushes?
I only as as the units are, like an increasing number of parts for our POJ's, becoming rarer.

Why are you re building it ? Have you checked it independently from the wiring ? a common problem is a chaft wire between body and door
