Which TVR Manual / Guide?
Discussion
Hi there,
I was looking to buy a copy of Steve Heaths TVR "Bible" but most of the copies I can find are second hand and quite pricey.
I also saw this book for sale from Amazon "TVR Chimaera and Griffith (The Essential Buyer's Guide): All Models 1994-2001 Paperback – 3 Mar. 2020" new, and for a cheaper price.
If I got the latter book, would I be missing out on much vs getting the TVR "bible".
I don't mind to pay for this but if the other cheaper book covers the same info then would it be more sensible to get that one?
Thanks!

I haven't seen the second book you mention, although I have most of the recent TVR books; if you're looking for mechanical detail etc. then you really need the 'bible', it's possibly the closest you'll get to a workshop manual. I can't see a buyer's guide covering the detail and, in any event, it's possibly a bit late as you've already bought it
Steve Heath's bible isn't cheap but, IMHO, is worth it for the info contained therein.

The buyers guide is what it says, a buyers guide!
While Steve Heaths book isn't, and doesn't claim to be, a full workshop manual it will be of far more use to any owner looking to do a bit of home maintenance/trouble shooting.
In reality there is nothing useful in it that today can't be found on the internet. If however you are bit old school like be and like things on paper I have a spare copy available, perfectly useable but gone a little wavy from being stored somewhere damp (boot of a TVR at a guess )
