Can anyone help?

On my TVR I use a ptfe lube (Super Lube) on my polybushes this works well and understand it won't degrade things.

The suspension is squeaking a bit on my other car and I can't figure out which grease to use, can anyone help?

The suspension has metal joints covered with a rubber boot. I want to pull the boot back a bit and spray/squirt something into this lubricate the metal but I do not want to deteriorate the rubber.

Lithium would be good for the metal but degrade rubber as will the PTFE. Silicone is good for the rubber but isn't thick enough to cushion the metal properly. Red rubber grease is good for rubber but not metal to metal. Am I missing something here, is there a perfect product that I'm missing?

I'm currently thinking there must be a compromise, either use a spray silicone but do it often as its got to be better than where I am right now, this looks like the easiest fix or use the PTFE knowing its going to degrade the rubber but probably a lot slower than a mineral oil based grease.

I assume there will also be some old dried up grease in there and have no idea if this might react with whatever I do.

Am feeling pretty confused about this does anyone have any advice?

I would guess Red rubber would be suitable but if it were me I’d probably just use a decent ptfe spray and not worry.
Maybe something similar to this is suitable.
