Anyone know why there is a blue and black connector leading to the oil pressure sensor, with only the blue one connected?

My 2 week old oil sensor is playing up again so I get a warning all the time as I accelerate and decelerate. Am I safe to unplug the blue lead so I can just suffer the start-up warning once until I get it fixed?

I do not know what the black connectors for, but I've had my oil pressure sender replace three or four times now in the last four months.
Apparently TVR have had a bad batch
