Where do TVRs go in the winter?
Discussion
Having owned my Chimaera for a couple of months now, I'm looking forward to the rest of the Summer (when it arrives). However, what happens in the winter? Do most TVR owners wrap up their cars and happily wait for the Spring come Winter time? OR does the car come out to play on sunny Winters days?
Cheers.

Can't see the point in putting it away for the winter TBH.
For one thing they are more reliable the more their driven and also I prefer to drive it in the wet etc as it helps stop you getting too over confident in the car. Theres nothing like a few slippy moments on greasy wet roads to make you realise just what you are driving.

I get the picture. I used to own a Boxster S and driving it on a crisp winters day was in my opinion one of the best times to drive it. Looks like the same will apply for the Tiv :-)
I agree about driving in the wet - you do get 'gentle' reminders about power to weight ratio and rear wheel drive!

My Chim is my daily drive to work so it comes out every working day. I do have to be careful when it's wet or frosty but that's not too hard.
I do the same - and mine has NEVER let me down.!!
Has yours.??
I Think this is a VERY important lesson for TVR owners / drivers...........
Don't wrap them in cotton wool - they want to be driven - and if you believe what you read in the press: [TVR's] "...will bend you over and roughly take you......." well you know what I mean.........
They don't need babying.!!
