There's one every month. Always has been. It is always the second Sunday of the month and it is always at the 3 Horseshoes in Harpenden. I am always there, we are always looking for another evnue. It nearly always is crap weather, I am always the last at the bar and you will always be welcome, as are all your mates, friends, their dogs.

BTW that means the next one is July 10.

Hmmm so when I left the 3 Horseshoes last meet I collared for your bar bill so I believe I was last to leave the bar

That's a lie. Anyway there's no way you can call that place a bar

After speaking to the landlord - the 3 horseshoes is off the A1081 in Harpenden, onto Cross Lane, then it's the right turn which is East common lane...it's down there on the left...

No need to speak to the Landlord - just refer to your copy of Sprint. All the details for all regional meetings are included towards the back.

If you're not a TVRCC member there's nothing to stop you coming along, and you might find what you're looking for on the Herts/Beds/Middlesex/Bucks 3-regions e-group here:

Apologies Angus, was only trying to be helpful.... I couldn't find the address of the pub anywhere so I asked for directions.... I'm not a member of the TVRCC anymore, and hadn't heard of the mailing group until you just posted it..

Hey no worries I've just lost count of the number of people who couldn't find the damned place even with an A to Z and so we posted maps on the e-group. TVRCC member or not we always welcome a fellow petrolhead.

And if you have ideas for another venue free beers for a month! (NOTE: Hoov is explicitly excluded from this offer. No one could provide enough beer for him for a month, not even Interbrew.)

Hmmm -- Beer you say ???
Will try to get down for the next meet
I've a few suggestions for alternative venues
The Chequers at Barley....It's a fantastic drive out along the B1368 - it has a decent carpark & Greene king ales...

The Chequers

The Anchor at Wadesmill is a great pub, with plenty of parking, or just across the road there is The Feathers, which again, has loads of parking - and a nice run in along the B158

The Anchor

Edited to add -- I've contacted The Chequers who are happy to accomodate - The Anchor is shut until this Thursday, I'll phone back then.... The Feathers will call me tomorrow as they get quite busy on a Sunday..
