I just heard the very sad news.
This is from the Warrington Guardian....

EANN WHALLEY Peacefully in hospital on the 9th August 2020, Eann aged 66 years of Great Sankey. Loving husband of Christine and a much loved dad and grandad. Donations in Eann's memory are for the 'British Lung Foundation'. All enquiries to John Burrows & Sons, The Old Smithy, Mill Lane, Lymm, Cheshire, WA13 9SE. Tel: 01925 752501

Anyone that knew Eann or ever dealt with him and bought his TVR goodies will know what a true TVR enthusiast he was. He also happened to be a thoroughly nice bloke to deal with.
A big loss to the TVR community.

Indeed, a very knowledgeable guy who was always happy to have a chat.

My thoughts are with his wife and family.

I hope I'm not out of place to post this here but this was distributed by the TVR club RO.

We have been talking to Eann’s wife, Christine, regarding the funeral arrangements. Under the current COVID situation only 18 people will be able to attend the service inside the Crem so this is obviously restricted to immediate family. We would like to organise that as many TVRs as possible can go to the Crem in order to support Christine and the family and to pay our respects to a really lovely guy.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 25th August at 12.20 at the Walton Lea Crematorium, Chester Rd, Higher Walton, Warrington, WA4 6TB. If we approach the Crem from the Walton Hall Garden end there is a long road leading into the grounds of the Crem and we can park there. The funeral directors will ensure they come in on that road so the cortege will pass us. We would recommend arriving around 12.00 so we can ensure we are parked up and ready for their arrival. To ensure we have sufficient parking space for our cars can you please confirm to us your attendance.
Telephone numbers removed.

So sorry to hear this, just unreal. He was indeed one of the 'nice guys' around and it is truly a sad loss. So sad.
