Any recommendations for resecuring the lifting velcro and targa trim as per photos? Bog standard Evostik, or is there something better available? Thanks in advance.

Rubber seals are tricky you just need a good quality contact adhesive

To reattach the velcro to the body, I would use contact adhesive and super glue maybe for the rubber.

Your stock Evo stick is not heat proof, as I found out sitting in the car on a hot day as my dash vinyl slowly unstuck its self before my eyes, but if you dig around you should find heat proof stuff. Mind you hot glue works quite well on vinyl and cloth, or as suggested super glue, but get yourself some super glue accelerator to go with it, a quick spray sets the stuff instantly, so you can use it to fill gaps with repeated application.

We use SAF111 by Hawke House in Gosport. https://www.hawkehouse.co.uk/product/saf111/

They are a marine supplier and use this for roof lining in boats where the deck gets very hot so it has to work.

Use it on Chim bonnets and over the exhausts of Ultima cars. On the Ultima the heat matting is about an inch from 700HP exhaust systems.
