Hi All, I have a 4.5 Cerbera and am looking to change my car stereo to enable Bluetooth. I liked the idea of the Pioneer SPH-10BT but the holder for the phone doesn't come out far enough to allow clearance above the unit. Does anyone have any suggestions recommendations?
I also note that as I have a amp with sub-woofer in the middle of the back seats the unit needs 6 ports for speakers to stop me trying to figure it out. Help appreciated.

I would just put a normal pioneer stereo in and just connect with Bluetooth, they are one of the better sounding units.
You would need to post up a pic of your amp set up, you usually control it from the stereo pre out connections which leaves the speaker outputs free, the amp then wires to extra speakers such as subwoofers etc.

That looks an interesting unit, but yes you won't get clearance for the phone holder, it's the same issue with the 2Din pop out screen ones, they end up tilting downwards.

I was looking at 1 din head units with a remote screen, something like the Alpine unit

But at £1300 I stuck with my existing JVC head unit and separate Garmin GPS

I saw the same head unit in Halfords whilst buying my daughter a scooter a month or so ago and considered buying it too. Glad I didn’t as I didn’t consider the dash protrusion would stop the phone dock operating as normal.

Copied this spec from an American site. It seems there's some adjustment on the cradle:

Compatible Smartphone Sizes: Your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone must be 2.28"-3.42" (w) x 2.28"-6.69" (h) x 0.15"-0.39" (d) with a maximum weight of 0.55 lbs.
Adjustable Viewing Angle: You can adjust the angle of the integrated smartphone cradle and viewing angle of your mounted smartphone device. It has a downward tilt of 45-degrees and upward tilt of 100-degrees. You can also rotate your mounted smartphone to a landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) position.
Retractable Range: The integrated smartphone cradle pulls out of the front of the head unit approximately 4.625". Once its pulled out, the cradle folds upward and sits 3"-4" above the chassis. Once your smartphone is mounted, the cradle can be repositioned 1.25"-2.5" from the receiver's front-panel.

I'm looking at an Alpine Halo 9, which looks like it ought to be compatible. It would likely block off part of the cubby hole, but since I currently put my Nav there, I'm not too bothered...
